Princess (or Prince) Cheese Crowns: Recipe

Little princes and princesses can put their royal decorating skills to work as they create a custom cheese crown snack.

Level Of Difficulty: EasyMediumDifficult

Time To Prepare: Under 1 Hour

Time Until Ready: Under 1 Hour

Recommended Age: 3 to 8 years

Little princes and princesses can put their royal decorating skills to work as they create a custom cheese crown snack.

What you need:

  • Sliced cheese
  • Raisins, craisins or other fruit "jewels"
  • Whipped cream cheese
  • Plastic Ziploc sandwich bag

Step 1

Spoon cream cheese into plastic bag.  Cut small piece from bottom corner of the bag to create a piping bag. This is super easy and inexpensive.

Step 2

Cut crown shapes from cheese slices.  We like to vary the shape, but we recommend Mom does the cutting.

Step 3

Pipe décor onto cheese crown & decorate with fruit jewels.

I found my belief in the importance of pretend play through two paths. First, during my childrens’ formative years, I developed an appreciation for crafting, games and dress-up as I saw my kids confidence grow as they succeeded on their imaginary adventures.
