When your kiddo’s tummy is roaring, a lion has NOTHING on that level of ferociousness! To keep your little one running on a full tank of energy, there is nothing better than a healthy carbohydrate boost to feed the hunger beast!

What you need:

  • Round, sliced sandwich cheese
  • Rotini Pasta
  • Black Olives
  • A Strawberry
  • Shredded cheese or carrots

Step 1

Place a round piece of cheese (cheddar, colby, or colby-jack for an "orange" lion face) on a plate

Step 2

Around the face, arrange a rotini pasta mix (either w/spaghetti sauce for a hot lunch or a tri-colored pasta salad for a cold lunch) for the mane.

Step 3

Place black olive eyes, a quarter of a strawberry nose, and shredded cheese (or carrot) whiskers on your lion’s face.

Step 4

Use two triangular piece of the same cheese you used for the head for ears.

Roar! Watch your little one gobble it down with the fierceness of a mighty lion!
