Out on the range we eat lots of beans & franks – a traditional western lunch. We kept it super simple and kid friendly by slicing hot dogs into canned pork and beans. Once heated, lunch is ready to be served. Add a biscuit on the side and you’re good to go. We served ours in a metal pie tin for that classic chuck wagon feel.

I found my belief in the importance of pretend play through two paths. First, during my childrens’ formative years, I developed an appreciation for crafting, games and dress-up as I saw my kids confidence grow as they succeeded on their imaginary adventures.
