Save Me From Scurvy Pirate Lunch: Recipe

Transform any sandwich into a pirate’s healthy lunch.

Transform any sandwich into a pirate’s healthy lunch.

What you will need:

  • Sliced bread
  • Sandwich filler
  • Grapes
  • Banana
  • Pea Pods
  • Raisins
  • Edible Pen

Step 1

Assemble your favorite sandwich, and cut into skull shape.

Step 2

Cut banana in half, slice off 8 pieces and cut remaining in half lengthwise to create crossbones.

Step 3

Use grapes to form the pirate bandana.

Step 4

Add raisins to create eye, nose & mouth (slice raisins in half for mouth)

Step 5

Use half of a grape for eye patch

Step 6

Draw eye patch straps using edible pen.

Tips:
Wilton sells “candy decorating pens” in the cake decorating section of craft stores. These edible pens make creating fine details super easy.
