Crocodile Sub Sandwich: Recipe

This fun sandwich will require some dismantling before eating; kids can have great fun being a crocodile dentist. Remove the eyes and corn teeth (held in with toothpicks) and then sink your teeth into this jungle beast!

This fun sandwich will require some dismantling before eating; kids can have great fun being a crocodile dentist. Remove the eyes and corn teeth (held in with toothpicks) and then sink your teeth into this jungle beast!

What you will need:

  • Sub sandwich roll
  • Sandwich fillers
  • Corn
  • Mushroom
  • Olives
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Toothpicks
  • Wilton candy eyes

Step 1

Cut sub roll and add favorite sandwich fillers

Step 2

Break toothpick into thirds. Spear corn kernels with toothpick pieces and place teeth in top of sandwich.

Step 3

Place mushroom slice within slits to create back of crocodile eyes.

Step 4

Using full size tooth pick spear through olive, top of sandwich grape tomato and into lower part of sandwich.

Tips:
Allow time to assemble these crocodiles, You may need to “play” with toothpick placement to keep mouth open and teeth in place. But well worth the effort—really cute!
