After extensive super secret Ninja training, the tools of the trade are needed. This is the quickest, easiest craft ever!

What you will need:

  • Tubular foam pipe insulation 3/4” diameter (from hardware store)
  • Heavy string
  • Hole punch
  • Scissor
  • Electricians tape (or duct tape)
Tip: I like the electricians tape because it stretches a bit and is more pliable than the duct tape.

Step 1

Cut pipe insulation into two pieces of desired length. (Each of mine measured 9”).

Step 2

Cut string to desired length. (Mine was 11”).

Step 3

Use hole punch to make one hole in one side of each pipe insulation.

Step 4

Slide string through hole and make a knot located on inside of insulation. Repeat for second foam pipe.

Step 5

Wrap knot with tape to prevent it from sliding out of the pipe insulation.

Step 6

I added a little pizzaz with silver star tape.
