Spidi-berries are adorable & super easy. They can be used as décor on a cake or pie or can be served on a plate all by themselves. Such a fun way to add some fruit to your superhero’s diet!

What you will need:

  • Strawberries
  • White Chocolate
  • Black decorating Gel

Step 1

Wash & dry strawberries.

Step 2

Use melted white chocolate to create eyes on the berries.

Step 3

Chill berries until chocolate hardens.

Step 4

Outline eyes with decorating gel.

Tip:
Wilton has a white cake decorating pen, which is essentially white chocolate in a tube. It makes melting and drawing of eyes super easy. I would highly recommend using it on this project.

I found my belief in the importance of pretend play through two paths. First, during my childrens’ formative years, I developed an appreciation for crafting, games and dress-up as I saw my kids confidence grow as they succeeded on their imaginary adventures.

Mich, these can be prepared the night before. Leaving them refrigerated the night before will actually harden the frosting a little bit. The only downside is that the greens on the top may start to wilt a little. Happy Pretending!
