What you will need:

  • 2 Toilet paper rolls
  • Hole punch
  • Craft glue
  • Animal print felt
  • Foam sheet
  • Yarn/ string / or ribbon

Step 1

Measure felt to fit around toilet roll.(My felt measured 5 3/4 x 4 inches). Glue felt to toilet roll.
Toilet rolls can be painted instead of using felt.)
Glue from a hot glue gun may dry faster and hold better than craft glue.

Step 2

Measure foam sheet to go around roll (mine was 1/2 in thick and 6 in long). When applying, start at the seam of the felt. Place at edge of toilet roll.

Step 3

Use the hole punch to make holes on the outside of the tube, across from the seam.

Step 4

Glue tubes together. At the seam. Hold tubes until dry (could use clips). Before gluing, check that holes are on same end of tubes.

Step 5

Slide string through holes. Tie and cut off tails.
