What you need:

  • White t-shirt that’s large enough to look like a lab coat on your child
  • Scissors
  • Red Permanent Marker

Step 1:

Draw a red cross on the left breast of the shirt. Prevent it from bleeding through to the back by inserting cardboard, or something else in-between the front and back of the shirt.

Depending upon the age of your child, you can draw the outline and let your child color it in, let your child do all of the cross, or you can do it all for them. (Make sure to hold the fabric steady regardless of who does the work.)

Step 2:

Using the scissors, cut from the bottom front center all the way up through the neckline center.
